The Verdict
This place has insanely good reviews, and I’d say it largely lives up the reputation. The location is clean and tidy, had good customer service and was pretty quick. It definitely isn’t a budget option, but if you want great chicken I’d recommend them.
Chicken: 8/10
Chicken was banging overall and seemed super fresh. The stand out was the Little Straight Up Burger which I thought was quite a bit better than the regular one. The wings were fresh and tasty, however I wasn’t a big fan of their “tangy” sauce.
The Chicken Shop sandwich GOAT, according to me
Chips: 4/10
Chips were cooked well but pretty lame overall. Maybe it’s me because I feel like I’ve never had a good crinkle cut chip.
Price: 5/10
This is definitely a luxury chicken shop (is that even possible?) experience. Go here if you want the best you can, and not neccesarily a budget choice.
Overall Thoughts
Really good chicken with a nice location. If you want a surefire banging chicken sandwich Chicken Shop is a good pick. If you’re on your last few dollars of the month skip this one.
